1. Product Description - DitchCarbon.com offers customers a variety of products to reduce your carbon footprint. These include company purchases from the Chicago Climate Exchange, Planting trees in U.S.A. and Amazon to offset the harmful effects of human carbon production, windmill electrical power generation, research & development into carbon offset technology, educating the public about the dangers of climate change, cost-effective solutions to our climate crisis, outreach programs to promote organizations that are leading in the fight against climate change, along with innovative ideas aimed at reducing carbon dioxide emissions globally. Additionally, DitchCarbon.com partners with an EFI (Energy Federation) store for purchases of energy conservation products.

4. Return Policy - You may return new, unopened items sold and fulfilled by DitchCarbon.com within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Items should be returned in their original product packaging. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error. 
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper; however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days). We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

5. Refund Policy - If the item is returnable and you send it back to us unopened in the original box, DitchCarbon.com will offer you a refund based on your original method of payment. You must return the product to the DitchCarbon.com within 14 calendar days of the issuance of the RMA. All products must be packed in the original, unmarked packaging including any accessories, manuals, documentation and registration that shipped with the product. DitchCarbon.com will assess a 10% restocking fee on any opened hardware or accessory. DitchCarbon.com may ask you to provide a major credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover) to assess the 10% restocking fee.

6. Cancellation Policy - Orders for in-stock items are sent to our warehouse for shipping immediately after you place the order, therefore, in-stock items cannot be canceled. To request cancellation of backordered items, please contact our customer service department.  In the request, please provide your Order ID and the item(s) to be canceled. If we are unable to cancel your order, you will be notified via e-mail.
If we are unable to cancel your purchase, you have two options.
1. Refuse delivery of the product. This will send the package back to DitchCarbon.com and you will be credited within 10 days of receiving the package. 
2. Accept the package and follow the DitchCarbon.com returns process to return and receive credit for your purchase

7. Delivery/Shipping Policy - All orders shipped within 5 business days of order confirmation. You will receive an e-mail notification and tracking number to track your order.
